From the amateur Freudian leader writer in today's Daily Post:

[The] air link allowed the North to walk a little taller.

That's right: we Gogs have such low self-esteem we just don't feel 'whole' without a heavily subsidised air link to Cardiff...

I thought that the idea was to buck up the South a bit with days out on Ynys Mon.
Seriously, the snag was that, unless youre a business person being met,it's such a bind getting to and from the flight.
It would have been much better to spend more money on the rail service - which has, admittedly, improved.
