One of Gordon Brown's pre-prepared (but thankfully unused) jibes for use in last night's Debate:
"You can phone a friend, you can ask the audience, you can go 50-50 with Nick."
How do I know? See this sneaky little behind the scenes photo:

Ah so you read the Spectator - excellent - Sky used TV company from Wales for broadcast by the way.
It's nice to know that the mandarins think the audience is so dumb that they have to continually use cliched TV-show lines like those. But then, it was a debate on Sky...
Anon 1 - well spotted!
OH excellent - that he had the sense not to use it!
Rhiannon - Right - the first bit of sense he's shown in months!
Had pamphlet from Welsh Christian Party today, pity they wont be getting any votes in Llanfachraeth then -which made me wonder - where do they shop?
Also had pamphlet from Peter Rogers - he makes no election promises "except to continue to work hard on your behalf"
Well that the least I would except of my MP (work hard), you can rely on him to stand by you.
P.S I may not agree with everything Mr Rogers stands for, but at least he used a local printer for his pamphlet - WO Jones Llangefni, whereas the Conservatives had to go to Newport
You need hands to hold someone you care for
You need hands to show that you're sincere
When you feel nobody wants to know you
You need hands to brush away the tears
