Albert Owen: Putting Anglesey First?

Despite the myriad problems facing the Island he supposedly represents, this is the question our MP, Albert Owen, chose to ask in Parliament yesterday:

Albert Owen: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the cost to the public purse was of the entertainment budget of the chief of the Defence staff in each of the last three years.

Good to see you're "Putting Anglesey First" as it said on your election fliers, Albert...

a small cost when compard to the huge economic benefits coming to Anglesey with new training facilities at RAF Valley, needing technical support jobs.

did he think properly before asking the question?

I'd like to ask Albert exactly how much it cost the public purse for him to stand there and ask that question?

Excellent turn out at the Benllech meeting with The eader and Team.

Many good questions and worthwhile answers.

Well done Mr McG despite it having been such an horrific day for John and for the village.

To Anglesey Islander

Did you go to the same meeting as Anon 23.00 at Quote of the day. ?

Betty travels First Class and she knows it. I don't blame Albert for hiding in the bog or getting Arriva Trains via Cardiff.

Poor effort Druid! Will you be publishing every question that Albert Owen asks in Parliament?

Earwicga - I will publish each waste-of-time question that Albert Owen asks in Parliament which has nothing to do with Anglesey. He is there as our representative - not to try and embarrass the Chief of Defence Staff only days after Arms Forces Day.
