"In his keynote Guardian interview on the 10th of July, the Deputy Prime Minister said, 'I am a revolutionary... but I'm also a pragmatist.' When he suddenly agreed to raise VAT was he being a revolutionary pragmatist, or pragmatic revolutionary?"
Watch it here (fast forward to around 22 mins 18 seconds in).

Llwyd was pretty useless as a solicitor; he used to keep cancelling appointments at his Dolgellau chambers because he was too busy Plaiding it.
Got your facts wrong there Blaenau. By the time Elfyn became the Plaid candidate he had given up being a solicitor and he wasn't particularly politically active before declaring an interest in the candidacy.
Alwyn ap Huw,
Yes, but I didn't say he was a candidate, did I? He was probably busy trying to be one, certainly. Given that I was actually a customer of his and had to travel 20 miles to the cancelled appointment, I should be better placed to comment on him that your mere assertions!
Maybe Alun son of Huw is trying to get some kudos with plaid wales. Sad old fart as he is.
