Meet Ed Miliband's 'New Generation' for Wales...

...they're the same as the Old Generation:

Peter Hain, despite not being voted for by his colleagues, returns as Shadow Secretary of State for Rwanda Wales. Neil Kinnock obviously wasn't speaking metaphorically when he said he's got his party back...

Peter Hain on the wain, where will it end? If I knew the answer I would tell you, but I don't, and that's difficult. For years we have looked at out politicians as an answer to all out problems, but the problem is that Politicians create more problems, and this is why we are in the state we are in today.
The most cringe worthy moment in Welsh Politics was the 1992, pre-election Labour Party rally Neil Kinnock said: " Comrades. Alright! Alright! Well alright! The thought of it makes me glow from head to toe with embarrassment, and it was the day I realised that our Politicians just don't have a clue what the people in Wales really want.

I wonder if Hain will get to employ his aged mother (over 80)this time round?

Heh, this is how David Jones MP blogs about Hain.

"I must admit to being quietly pleased at the re-appointment of Peter Hain as shadow Welsh Secretary, much as one enjoys the experience of being reunited with a mislaid pair of comfortable, well-worn shoes.

Given, too, that he was Secretary of State for so long, he will be able to continue to offer the House a valuable insight into why it was that, on his watch, Wales became and remained the poorest part of the United Kingdom.

Welcome back, Peter."

Peter Hain, a twat of the first order. Neil, a chief saucier of the bisto kids.

Proof positive that getting onto the EU gravy train brings great benefits in anti-ageing effects.

I expect this means that we can expect a less than enthusiastic endorsement from London Labour for the YES vote in the referendum - and coded signals to welsh Labour MPS that they will not harm their career prospects in Westminster if they campaign for a NO vote. After all, that was how Kinnock came to prominence in 79!

It will be a pity if Ed Miliband thinks he owes anything to Kinnock for his support in the leadership elections - I'm pretty sure it cost him in the PLP. But I'm sure that Kinnock thinks he is owed a lot!

Peter Vain will be joining the two Eagel sisters in the Shallow Cabinet.

Jack Straw is reputed to have said that a number were not up to the job.
As golfers know an Eagle is two under par so that's two of the ones he meant identified then.

I'm surprised more people in Wales aren't up in arms about being represented in the Labour Shadow Cabinet by a convicted criminal.

They are all bloody criminals if you ask me.

Fat fingers, small keyboard actually.

And it's tru. Both the Cabinet and it's shadow show a either a complete lack of talent or a surfeit of failure.
