With Clegg-mania now sweeping the country, a number of commenters have asked what this could mean for the election here in Anglesey. A very good question - and one which Druid will return to in a new post shortly. Watch this space!

Whilst we wait, how about:
Voting Lib. Dem. will give you:
(a) A party that opposes nuclear power and the on-site storage of the toxic waste that nobody knows what to do with, or how to pay for even if they did. Jobs are one thing. Creating a legacy of nuclear waste that our kids will have to manage forever more is quite another. Only Lib.Dems. are up-front on their opposition to nuclear.
(b) Mostly honest MPs; most of the crooks were Labour and Tory.
(c) A break with the brainless 'oh, my dad voted Labour, so I may as well vote for them as well'.
(d)A party that may well be in a position to strongly influence anyone that, as seems likely, ends up with a tiny majority or no majority.
(e) Honesty and integrity on the economy. It's all very well for Gordon to say he's the big-hitter on the economy, when it was he (and the Tories) who kept on banging the 'light touch regulation' mantra for years whilst things went quietly pear-shaped.
(f) A party that believes in proportional representation - ending the wholly unjust 'first past the post' system.
The Tories, on the other hand, are more like wrestling with a greased vicar.....
